  Perma-Grin! Booked this experience with a couple of good friends that I just so happen to work with. To say we are competitive with one another would be a bit of an understatement. Matt and Eric provided the route, gear, accessories and snacks and we soaked up all the adrenaline. All the while, they were with us and behind us to make sure we did it all safely. Takeaways; 40 miles sounds like a lot but at the finish you will wish it was 60. Our group wanted to go fast and we did just that. Don't book with a huge group bike tour-those folks look miserable. Grab something from the local stops along the way. Enjoy the Ride!

  We cannot recommend Maui Bombers and their Cycle Supreme tour enough! We had an amazing time with Matt and Eric. These are a few of the reasons why we would return for another ride: ** You're followed closely by the support vehicle to block traffic behind you. The "bike lane" on Haleakalā is very narrow/non-existent. Knowing that there's a vehicle right behind you stopping traffic from behind is very reassuring and the vehicle is also used in the event that you want to stop or take a break. ** Maui Bombers is a small, local, independent business! ** You’re supporting additional local businesses along the route at each stop (a neighborhood fruit stand, a woman selling bread, and a cafe in Makawao) ** Matt and Eric are fun AND informative. We learned about each town we cruised through, how deer and chameleons arrived on the island, and windsurfing ** Matt adds personal touches to make the ride as enjoyable as possible (drone video, home made coconut muffins, windbreakers and gloves in case you’re cold) ** Matt and Eric are great people. You’d have to really to have a bad time in their company since they’re simply nice to be around. They’re hilarious.

  Hands down the best excursion on Maui. We booked another trip to Maui simply because we want to “badass” bike down Haleakala once again. Matt provides an amazing experience. Highly recommend!

  The Maui Bombers did indeed deliver the CYCLE SUPREME: The Mother Of All Tours! We rode the full 40 miles then added an additional 8 miles back to the starting point where we parked. Best lunch ever (freshest focaccia bread chicken sandwich) and best bikes (Trek and Specialize) which was a selling point for us. Will do again on next visit!

  The Maui bombers - Matt and Eric had the best cycling tour we've taken on our many biking adventures. We were most impressed with the quality bikes (Trek and Specialize), the care with which they explained our adventure and the little things along the way (Eric's finding a chameleon lizard in the trees during a rest stop. in all we rode the 40 miles of the trip then added an additional 8 miles back to where we parked and started the adventure. Lunch was excellent - freshest focaccia bread sandwiches ever. A winner all around. Would do again on next visit to Maui!

  Met up with Matt and Eric early Tuesday morning.. I was greeted with warm homemade coconut muffins.and lots of snacks Yum! We started our Supreme Ride at 6700 feet ( Haleakala). it was fabulous. Amazing views we had the road to ourselves. Matt took pictures and videos along the way with his camera and a drone..very cool. We biked Maui Upcountry. Kula, keono, Mawakao and Paia. Visited a fresh farm stand, several parks and had warm bananas bread from a local vendor. I have gone on several bike tours around the world.. this one was in one of the best!!! The scenery, the customer service , the equipment all top notch!! 5 stars 5 Stars!!!!

  Matt and crew were incredibly professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I would recommend doing the tour for anyone wanting to get to know the island on a bike.

  My twelve year old, biking enthusiast son and I had an amazing ride with Matt and Eric today. From the moment they greeted us I knew it would be a fun and engaging day with these guys. I wanted more of a challenge than the typical downhill ride and to see more of the non-touristy side of Hawaii and this ride was perfect for that. They graciously let my son ride in the car for the one tough-ish part of the ride. The views in this portion of the ride were gorgeous. Lunch was perfect in the cute upcountry town. I was disappointed that I had forgotten to pack my GoPro but Matt already had things under control. He provides photos, videos and even drone footage of our ride- all airdropped to my phone before we left. I highly recommend this terrific business! Go for the cycle supreme…you won’t be sorry

  This is the best cycling tour in Maui! The 40 mile route takes you to other locations that the other tours don't go and you get to see the best views of upcountry. We lucked out and we're the only ones on the tour and Matt and Eric were awesome. It felt very safe with Eric following behind in the van and the bikes are in great condition. Matt takes plenty of photos and action videos so you can just sit back and take in the views. It's an easy, mostly downhill ride. You'll love this tour!

  Great experience from beginning to end! I contacted Matt directly to register for this tour because the system doesn't allow solo bookings. He was great on the phone and sent reminder texts before the ride day. 40 miles sounds like a lot, but it's definitely mostly downhill and on some rolling up/down in some really cool upcountry parts of Maui. Anyone can do this ride! Great views from the mountain at the beginning, fun to see the inland towns and get some local produce in the middle part of the trip, and we finished near Paia with lunch. This is a really unique smaller group experience and a way to be active on your trip to Maui, and I'd highly recommend checking this out! It was a great way to see Maui, smell the trees and nature on the island, and talk with some locals. Thanks Matt!
