Pass By: Redtail Air Adventures, 94 West Aviation Way Canyonlands Airport, Moab, UT 84532

Upon arriving at the airport you'll check in with our friendly reservations desk where you will meet your pilot and enjoy a pre-flight briefing of your tour. The pilot will escort you to the airplane for boarding. Once in the sky you will see the full landscape of Canyonlands unfold beneath you as you enjoy commentary from your experienced pilot. Historical and geographical information that is unique to the area will be provided through comfortable headsets. Our high wing airplanes provideÂ the perfect way to see the scenery below and every guest is given a window seat for optimal views. After the tour is finished the plane will land gently at the Canyonlands field and you will have an opportunity to take photos of the plane to remember your experience.

Canyonlands National Park in southeastern Utah is known for its dramatic desert landscape carved by the Colorado River. Island in the Sky is a huge, flat-topped mesa with panoramic overlooks.

Cataract Canyon is a 46-mile-long canyon of the Colorado River located within Canyonlands National Park and Glen Canyon National Recreation Area in southern Utah.

Corona Arch is a natural sandstone arch near Moab. The arch is located within the same rock formation as Pinto Arch and Bowtie Arch.

Don’t forget to take photos! You’ll be in awe with the scenery. The best bit of my Moab outdoor adventure for sure! Flying over inaccessible parts of Canyonlands NP. Connor did an amazing job of narrating the surrounding area. The entire Redtail team is awesome.

My husband took me for an airplane tour of the canyon lands for my birthday and it was amazing! Our pilot, Conner was very nice and informative. He pointed out all the things to see in time for us to look and made sure we saw it all. We’re from East Tennessee and this was one of my favorite things we done the whole trip out. Next time we will bring our 7 year old! Very calm and smooth ride. Turbulence wasn’t bad at all! Definitely a great unforgettable experience!

What a wonderful experience! My husband Steve and I were in Moab with a few extra hours in the afternoon before starting our train trip though the Rockies. While an afternoon time slot was not advertised on Redtail website, Amanda and Heather coordinated a flight time for us. They also recommended Moab taxi to transport us to the air field from our hotel. Connor our pilot was excellent pointing out amazing sights from the air as well as being attentive to safety procedures. The staff at Redtail made our wonderful trip even more extraordinary than anticipated. Thank you Amanda, Heather and Connor!!

Ethan flew us over Labyrinth Canyon, the Confluence, the Maze, the Needles, up the Colorado, and over the upper Castle Valley/Mill Creek drainages. He was super informative and flew us very smoothly. One of the coolest experiences in moab.

Fabulous would be a one-word description. As a resident of this area I have explored much of the wonders that exist here and am always amazed, but nothing I have done compared to the amazement and astonishment of seeing the wondrous Colorado Plateau and Canyonlands terrain from the air. I highly recommend Redtail Air Adventures to anyone who wants to fully explore this marvelously unique part of our planet. You will never regret this adventure. Ray Cannefax.

We had the greatest time on this flight by Red Tail Aviation. Craig, our pilot, was very personable and informative. We learned more from him in an hour about the Canyonlands than we ever did in school! The scenery (which we would never see on our own) was spectacular. The plane ride was very smooth and every passenger had their own window seat! On a scale of 1 to 10, this is an 11!!!! I highly recommend. If I ever make it out to Utah again, I will be a repeat customer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Red Tail Aviation = this one hour plane ride thru Canyonlands NP was OUTSTANDING and well worth the money!!! We really enjoyed the tour. The pilot was excellent, very professional and friendly, he gave a good safety talk, he was very well informed, he shared alot of interesting facts and history during the flight. This was one of the best experiences we had during our vacation to Utah. We would do it again, and book thru Red Tail aviation. Thanks for an excellent airplane tour.
