Great pilot and unique tour with the landing in private land reserve. Saw most of the island... sun, sand, cliffs, forests, canyons, rain, fog, ocean, etc. This was a gift to my mom (who was nervous initially) and she RAVES about it non-stop. Nice safety measures, great info, amazing scenery.

The helicopter tour was incredible, Max our pilot was the man - he answered all of our questions and did an incredible job flying through some rainy weather. Can’t recommend this experience enough.

This was hands down the highlight of our trip for both adults (37 and 40) and our 11 year old son. I cannot recommend this enough! Leading up to the tour, I had questions and Safari was prompt to reply to my emails and gave detailed answers to my questions. Everyone told us beforehand that Kauai is the best place for a helicopter tour because of the incredible landscape that sets it aside from the other islands. Seeing the rigid hills, the rust colored rock canyon, the lush greenery, the coastline, flying into the volcanic crater....it took our breath away. Parts of the island can only be seen by air so it was really cool to get a birds eye view of the pristine untouched areas and learn the rich history of the island as we went along. Our pilot, Max, was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable about the island. I was nervous going into it but he had such a steady hand, I never felt unsafe or nervous once we got into the air. My son and I are both prone to getting sea sick and car sick and surprisingly, neither of us had any issues with that in the helicopter. The canyon landing was awesome and worth the extra money. The views from the landing were great and meeting Keith Robinson, one of the major land owners in Kauai and also owner of the neighboring Forbidden Island, was a bonus. Hearing Mr. Robinson's stories and learning more about the area was really neat. My 11 year old is hard to keep focused and engaged and he was intrigued and asking questions throughout the entire tour. It was such a great experience, in the end, he decided he wants to be a helicopter pilot. Book this tour, you will not be disappointed. There is not a bad seat on the helicopter since there are windows all over the place. Money well spent for all ages!

I had a little anxiety at take off because it was a windy day at ground level but MAX handled that bird with precision and the flight was flawless. The views are spectacular and I did not expect an inspiring and entertaining music score soundtrack to go along with the ride. Max was very informative and could answer every question asked. The unexpected highlight of the trip was getting to meet Mr Robinson. Unforgettable experience overall!

Max was our pilot and he was superb in flight and describing the landscape. A surprise was to actually meet Keith Robinson who is owner of Ni'ihau & parts of Kauai. Keith showed us plants he is restoring and the Olokele Canyon. He's a character. the flight was incredible for 6 passengers. Wear dark clothes to minimize the reflection in the glass.

Fantastic views of mountains, waterfalls, canyons and the magnificent Pa Nali coast. The experience of landing on Robinson land and meeting Keith Robinson was an extra bonus. We landed along a canyon with incredible views. The helicopter was top notch. Clean, comfortable and crystal clear windows for excellent viewing.

Views were amazing and pilot was great! The biggest issue was other people on the tour didn't pay attention to what the company put in the description. They specifically said to wear dark clothing and they had on white clothes and ruined alot of my pictures due to their reflection in the window.

This a MUST tour to do in Kauai, since you can't drive all the way around the Island, like the rest. Keith, our tour guide, was an amazing pilot, taking off and landing was as smooth as it can get. He also had a great knowledge of the Island and its history. We were able to meet Mr. Robinson, the owner of portion of the Island, during our stop and got a little history lesson as well. The Jurassic park waterfalls were stunning. Overall a great experience, we highly recommend this tour.

The Safari canyon landing helicopter trip was awesome! Our pilot, Kyle, was very friendly, informative, and professional. Although I was a bit nervous beforehand, it was never scary or uncomfortable; it was perfect. We really treasured meeting Mr. Robinson during the canyon landing; and the views during the flyover of the NaPali coast and the mountains were stunning. Highly recommended!!!
