  We are a family of 4 (with 2 adventurous teenagers) and were hoping to travel together in the helicopter. Since the helicopters could not hold all of us, they took 2 of us in 2 separate helicopters and we flew all together so it was fine. It was about 80 degrees in Seward and even though we were landing on a glacier, we went in shorts since the air was still very warm on the glacier. In fact, my kids decided it would be cool to make snow angels on a glacier while in their shorts and t-shirts!! The views were phenomenal and the pilots were great. We flew near Bear Glacier which was also great.

  We spent 12 days in Alaska and had some great tours, but this was the pinnacle. There is nothing quite like seeing the mountains, glaciers, and coastline from the air, and then to land near the end of Bear Glacier and walk around in near silence listening to the unique sounds of the recently calved ice bergs and the still calving glacier was phenomenal. Thanks to Ty, our pilot who guided us along the flight and allowed ample space for nature to speak for itself during our time on the ground. The reception team of Cory and Kendra were funny, great conversationalists, and the perfect couple for engaging with people from all walks of life.
